SANE nurses are required to complete rigorous training and comprehensive education in order to provide this specialty service for our community.  St. Thomas More’s SANE team consists of six nurses who bring with them more than 100 years of nursing experience – half from the hospital’s Obstetrics Department and half from the Emergency Department. 

The team also has full support from within the hospital including Sheri Trahern, C.P.A., M.B.A., Chief Administrative Officer; Marcia DePriest, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., Chief Nursing Officer; April Asbury, R.N., B.S.N., C.R.R.N., Director of Emergency Services; and two physician advisors including Mollie Miller, D.O. and Linda Sturtevant, M.D.
