Get With The Guidelines®–Heart Failure Gold Quality Achievement Award
Our hospital was recently recognized for achievement in Get With The Guidelines—Heart Failure, a program created by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to help hospital teams consistently follow the most up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines for treating heart failure patients.
The American Heart Association recognizes this hospital for achieving 85% or higher compliance with all Get With The Guidelines®-Heart Failure Achievement Measures for two or more consecutive years and for documentation of all three Target: Heart Failure8M care components for 50% or more of eligible patients with heart failure Discharged from the hospital to improve quality of patient care and outcomes.
Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Receiving Quality Achievement Award
St. Anthony North Health Campus has received the Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Receiving Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.
The American Heart Association recognizes this hospital for achieving 85% or higher composite adherence to all Mission: Lifeline® STEMI Receiving Center Performance Achievement indicators for consecutive 24-month intervals and 75% or higher compliance on all Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center quality measures and First-Door-to-Device time of 120 minutes or less for transfers, to improve the quality of care for STEMI patients.
American College of Cardiology Performance Award
St. Anthony North Health Campus has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR ACTION Registry–GWTG Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2016; one of only 223 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor. The award recognizes our hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients and signifies that St. Anthony North Health Campus has reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to standard levels of care as outlined by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.

Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center Certification
The Joint Commission has awarded St. Anthony North Health Campus the Primary Stroke Center Certification. This advanced certification, developed in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, recognizes the select group of hospitals with the state-of-the-art infrastructure, staff and training necessary to receive and treat patients with strokes.
Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for Disease Specific Certification Stroke Care
St. Anthony North Health Campus earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for certification as a Primary Stroke Center by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety in disease-specific care. This advanced certification award recognizes St. Anthony North Health Campus’ exceptional efforts to foster better outcomes for stroke care.
Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Silver Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus
We’re proud to be recognized by the American Heart Association for our active involvement in Get With The Guidelines–Heart Failure Silver-Stroke and Target: Stroke, a program designed to help hospitals make sure patients get the benefits of the latest scientific, guidelines-based treatment.
The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association recognizes this hospital for achieving 85% or higher adherence to all Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Achievement Measures and 75% or higher compliance with five or more Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Measures for one calendar year and achieving Time to Thrombolytic Therapy ≤ 60 minutes 75% and ≤ 45 minutes 50% or more of applicable acute ischemic stroke patients to improve quality of patient care and outcomes.

March of Dimes has awarded St. Anthony North Health Campus with the Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait 39+ Weeks award for its effort to decrease the rate of preterm births by increasing public awareness about the risks of preterm birth.
Designated Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has awarded St. Anthony North Health Campus with the Blue Distinction Center award for Maternity Services which recognizes St. Anthony North Health Campus as an expert in delivering quality specialty care safely, effectively and cost efficiently.
We have been awarded designation by Baby Friendly USA. This award recognizes excellence in hospitals that provide evidence-based, maternity care with the goal of achieving optimal infant feeding outcomes and mother/baby bonding.

Planetree Designated Person-Centered Organization (GOLD)
St. Anthony North Health Campus has been formally designated by Planetree, Inc. as a “Planetree Designated Person-Centered Organization (GOLD).” We are now one of only 89 healthcare organizations worldwide, and the second hospital in the Centura Health System, to receive the Person-Centered Designation (GOLD) since the program’s launch in 2007. With this new designation we remain committed and focused on providing compassionate care to all of those in our community. Planetree is a non-profit organization that was founded by a patient in 1978. Planetree empowers patients and families through information and education, and encourages “healing partnerships” with caregivers to support active participation. Planetree personalizes, humanizes and demystifies healthcare for patients and their families.

Colorado Hospital Associations Quality Outcomes Report
The Colorado Hospital Association compares Colorado hospitals against each other and St. Anthony North Health Campus was recognized for a variety of outstanding patient outcomes in the 2015 Quality Outcomes Report:
- Heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, knee replacement, pneumonia and overall readmission rate
- AMI, pneumonia and hip fracture mortality rate
- Prevention for latrogenic pneumothorax and post-operative blood clots
- Uncomplicated caesarian section rate
- OB trauma with and without instrumentation
Diabetes Education Accreditation Program
St. Anthony North Health Campus has been accredited by The American Association of Diabetes Educators for its Diabetes Education Accreditation Program (DEAP) which expands diabetes education services into diverse community settings.
Colorado Healthy Hospital Compact Platinum Award
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has recognized St. Anthony North Health Campus for achieving the Platinum Award for Colorado Healthy Hospital Compact. This compact is an agreement by hospitals to share a mission to protect and promote the health of hospital patients and their families, visitors and staff.
Compact Partner Hospitals lead by example as they implement measures designed to improve the quality of their nutrition environments. As Partners in the Compact, hospitals are publicly recognized for their accomplishments and gain access to a growing network of peer hospitals that are connected to the latest best practices and innovations in the national healthy hospital movement.
