  • Emergency, Stroke & Trauma Care

    Avista Adventist Hospital Emergency Department and Level III Trauma Center includes two trauma suites and is fully equipped to provide comprehensive emergency medical services - such as emergency resuscitation, surgery and intensive care - to seriously injured patients.

    We see thousands of children each year-in kid-friendly treatment rooms with remote-control TVs, playful artwork and rocking chairs for parents. Our physicians' emergency medicine training includes a rigorous section in pediatric medicine, and every one of our nurses is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

    Cardiac Rehabilitation

    Cardiac Rehabilitation is specially designed to assist those recovering from a cardiac event in their transition back to their activities of daily living.

    Coronary Artery Calcium Screening

    If you are a man and over age 40 or a woman and over age 45, you may have one or more risk factors for heart disease, even if you are the picture of health. Family history, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking and diabetes are all factors leading to a good reason to get a heart calcium scoring exam.

    Interventional Radiology

    The interventional radiologists at Avista Adventist Hospital have over 110 years of collective experience performing minimally invasive treatments for a wide range of medical conditions that often required surgery in the past. Our interventional radiologists use advanced imaging techniques such as CT scans (computerized tomography), ultrasound and fluoroscopy (real time X-rays) to see inside the body as they guide tiny tubes (catheters) and other small devices through a patient to the site of the problem.
