Jennifer FitzPatrick, MD

Dr. Jennifer FitzPatrick is a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist with a long time interest in sports medicine and athletics. Her passion for treating the active individual stems from her days playing Division I soccer where she earned All-Conference and Academic All- American honors. During her sports medicine surgical fellowship she trained with the University of Colorado Buffaloes and the Denver Pioneers.

Dr. FitzPatrick is the only female orthopedic surgeon practicing in Pueblo and Cañon City.  Her expertise include sports medicine injuries and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, and elbow. She also performs shoulder arthroplasty as well as general orthopedic procedures.  She has been published in several journals and made numerous presentations at the national and international level.

Dr. FitzPatrick is committed to community service, having participated in international medical trips to Haiti, Ecuador, and Guatemala. She serves as a team physician for the Colorado State University at Pueblo athletic program and provides medical coverage for many NCAA events.

Dr. FitzPatrick is fluent in Spanish and enjoys mountain biking, running, wakeboarding and skiing.
