• Patient Information

  • Do I need a referral to be seen?

  • A physician's referral is required to receive services at the center. Your Primary Care Provider can write a referral to outpatient wound care and upon receiving the signed orders from the physician's office, our schedulers will call you to schedule an appointment.

If you do not yet have a physician referral but are interested in receiving wound care, we can assist in obtaining a physician referral to get you started with your treatment as soon as possible.

  • How long will my appointment take?

  • Appointment length is dependent on the type of wound and treatment required. Plan on the first visit being 45-60 minutes with subsequent appointments lasting anywhere from 15-45 minutes. When performing more specialized treatments such as Total Contact Casting for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, appointments can last up to one hour.

  • Who will care for me?

  • The center is managed primarily by two certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses who have specialized training in treating and managing acute and chronic wounds, ostomies and fistulas. We also work with a physician who provides medical oversight of the center.

  • Wound Care Resources

  • The center is able to assist you in obtaining appropriate dressing supplies, custom fit diabetic shoes, sleep surfaces, and compression garments. The coverage for these items depends upon each individual's insurance.

  • What insurances do you accept?

  • Most major insurances are accepted including Medicare, Medicaid, CICP and self pay.
